Soccer World Cup Wine Tasting

Our Wine Club is known as " The 2 Casual Wine Club".

Recently with the Soccer World Cup in R.S.A. we chose the theme " Soccer World Cup.

The dinner table decorations were all in Green & Yellow for Bafana Bafana, flags from the competing countries and of course Vuvuzelas.

We managed to purchase wine from 8 of the competing countries, plus some local "2010" wines. The wines were of mixed varieties. These were all "bagged". The wine tastings took place during the course of the dinner. At the end, after all the scores were tallied we announced the winning wine and predicted the team to win according to the winning wine. That did however not materialize but what a great and fun filled wine tasting.
